Thank you for choosing Baroque Beauty Center for your lip blushing procedure! This guide will help ensure optimal healing, beautiful color retention, and long-lasting results. Please follow the instructions carefully from today through full healing.

What to Expect Immediately After the Procedure

Color Intensity: Your lips will look brighter and more defined immediately after treatment. This is normal. The color will fade by 30–50% as they heal.

Swelling: Mild swelling and tenderness are common and typically resolve within 24–48 hours.

Dryness & Peeling: Lips will feel dry and tight, and flaking will begin around day 3–4. Do not pick or peel the flakes.

Color Disappearance: Around weeks 2–4, the pigment may appear to vanish—this is normal. The true color will develop between weeks 4–6.

Touch-Up Needed: One touch-up session is recommended 6–8 weeks after your initial procedure to refine shape and color.

Healing Timeline & Aftercare (Day-by-Day)

Day 1 (Procedure Day)

Blot Frequently: Gently blot lips every 30–60 minutes with a clean, damp cotton pad to remove lymph fluid.
Apply Balm: Keep lips hydrated with a thin layer of healing ointment (Aquaphor, A&D, or provided balm).
Avoid: Hot liquids, spicy food, kissing, touching, and makeup.
Drink with Straw: Minimize contact with lips.

Days 2–3
Reduce Swelling: Swelling will subside. Continue cold compresses if needed.
Clean Gently: After meals, gently wipe lips with a damp pad—no soap.
Moisturize Often: Reapply balm consistently.
Avoid: Makeup, sun exposure, hot drinks, and spicy food.

Days 4–7
Flaking Begins: Light peeling is normal. Do NOT pick or peel.
Keep Moist: Continue using aftercare balm.
Stay Gentle: Avoid excessive exercise, sun, or heat.

Week 2–3
Peeling Ends: Color may seem faded—this is part of the healing.
Hydrate: Use a fragrance-free, non-SPF balm as needed.
Avoid: Exfoliation, sun exposure, and harsh products.

Week 4–6
Final Color Revealed: You’ll begin to see the true healed result.
Book Your Touch-Up: This is the perfect time to return for final adjustments.
Use SPF: Protect lips with SPF 30+ balm daily.
