Dear Valued Client,
Congratulations on your new permanent eyeliner! To ensure the best healing and long-lasting results, please follow these aftercare instructions carefully.
Immediate Aftercare (First 24-48 Hours)
✅ Keep the area clean & dry – Avoid water, sweat, steam, and excessive moisture. Blot gently with a clean tissue if necessary.
✅ Use a clean cotton swab to apply a very thin layer of the recommended aftercare ointment (if provided) 2-3 times daily. Do not overapply.
✅ No touching, rubbing, or picking – Let the skin heal naturally to avoid pigment loss or infection.
✅ Avoid direct sun exposure – Wear sunglasses when outdoors.
Healing Phase (Days 3-10)
🔹 Mild swelling, tenderness, and tightness are normal. You may also experience slight itching or flaking. Do not scratch!
🔹 The eyeliner may appear darker at first but will fade slightly as it heals. This is normal.
🔹 Avoid all makeup, creams, or lotions around the treated area until fully healed.
🔹 No excessive sweating, saunas, pools, hot tubs, or steam rooms to prevent premature pigment loss.
Long-Term Care & Retention Tips
💠 Use SPF 30+ sunscreen around the eyes once healed to prevent fading.
💠 Avoid oil-based skincare products around the treated area as they can cause premature fading.
💠 Do not use lash serums or chemical exfoliants (retinol, glycolic acid) on or near the eyeliner.
💠 Touch-up is recommended in 6-8 weeks to perfect the shape and color.
What to Avoid Until Fully Healed (10-14 Days)
❌ Rubbing, scratching, or picking the scabbing
❌ Sleeping on your face
❌ Wearing contact lenses for 48 hours
❌ Mascara or eye makeup (until fully healed)
❌ Facials, chemical peels, laser treatments near the eyes
❌ Sun exposure & tanning beds
